"Mice Tale"

  Friday, twenty-fourth of April, 2020. My mommy, who had just had babies, was very busy looking after them, but...they were so noisy...I couldn't hear the tales she used to tell us well, so I had an idea:  I climbed up her skirt and managed to hide in her bonnet. So, I would hear everything well. I listened to her all day long, but she was so sweet, that I fell asleep... I want to ask my little brothers and sisters, the end of her stories... One, was about a queen and a princess; the queen was bad to the princess, so she went away to find a nice husband. She was lucky and eventually she went back home, pardoned the queen and were happy ever after.. The other tale was.... I can't remember it now...but I will tell you later..

     Thursday, fourth of May, 2020 I was fed with the warm milk my mummy had in her breasts, so I became a healthy little mouse  -a "she" mouse- who was called Andy. I was very happy in my little home by my mum, because all my brothers had left home as they were older.  One day, looking for adventure, I found a hole in a wall. I tried to see through it and I saw a nice well furnished sitting room. I thought how lucky I was. I was a bit frightened. I ran and went into the garden. There were trees, flowers, animals which fly... many things I had never seen. Who could had made all that?,  I wondered... I wouldn't believe my eyes!!, anyway, I had to tell someone. By chance, I met  a little girl called Alejandrita. She was only two like me. She was very sweat and beautiful. Her front teeth were like mine, so we became friends. I told her about what I had seen and when she saw all that nature,  she thanked me very kindly. She told me she was expecting a brother who

"MODAL VERB"

" MODAL VERB  CAN" Hello again!, here we are with a new "learning experience". Today, we are working with the modal verb "Can".  We can express abilities and possibilities to do things or to be able to do different actions. El verbo "Can", expresa una habilidad o una posibilidad y en español se traduce como "poder o saber hacer". For example:  I can jump, (puedo saltar). I can sing, (puedo o  tengo la habilidad de cantar). I can run, (puedo correr). I can play football, (puedo o tengo la habilidad de jugar al fútbol). We can see people doing different actions, in "topic 1" and on pages 6 (six) and 7 (seven) at "A Garden Party" and for these actions we use the verb "Can", for example: I can dance. I can read.
